An Excellent video about Creativity

13 Aug 2009

This video by Ken Robinson radically and comically redefines the structure of education to educate “the whole being”. An amazing advocacy video for the inclusion of Art, Music, Dance, Drama and other “creative” subjects in the school system. I love the story he tells about Gillian Lynne. Please share with educators and parents alike!

Thanks for posting this video. I pledge to share this to my fellow music teachers, parents, friends and colleagues. This video on creativity has an amazing advocacy in improving our educational system and achieving academic goals more effectively. I also believe that integration of these “creative” subjects in our school system is indeed an effective way to motivate and inspire a greater number of students. Music teaching as well as the inclusion of other forms of Arts is truly something that our students will look forward to.
